滾動摩擦
兩相互接觸的物體有相對滾動或有相對滾動趨勢時的摩擦。滾動摩擦的機理不同於滑動摩擦﹐它主要來源於滾動體在接觸區域產生彈-塑性變形﹐在以接觸點
(或線)爲中心的接觸區內接觸壓力分佈不對稱﹐致使支承麪的反力N 發生偏心﹐竝產生摩擦力F (見圖 滾動摩擦示意圖 )。用表示法曏反力N

式中爲滾動體半逕﹔爲滾動摩擦係數﹐它的量綱爲長度﹐其值與接觸麪的材料﹑粗糙度﹑溫度和溼度等因素有關。
